Locked

Terms

Last updated 6 November 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and Locked. By creating an account you accept them, together with our privacy page.

Who we are

Locked is run by Karyotsav Private Limited, G.No. 217, Wanewadi, Tal. Baramati, Murum, Baramati, Pune 412306, Maharashtra, India. Write to us at support@thelocked.app.

Who can use Locked

You must be 18 or older. One account per person, with details that are really yours. You are responsible for what happens on your account.

The one rule

An account can be in only one bond at a time. When two people lock in, neither can be in any other bond until it ends.

Digital rings

Every Locked ring is digital. No metal, no stone, nothing is made, sold or shipped. A ring is a feature of your bond on Locked: it has no cash value and cannot be sold or passed on.

Silver is free. Gold and Diamond are upgrades for a bond: Gold opens three months after your together-since date, Diamond at six months. No one can buy them sooner.

Payments

You pay through the App Store or Google Play, at the price shown there. Their payment terms also apply.

When a bond ends, paid rings and purchases are not refunded and not turned into credit. Other refunds follow the store's own rules. Nothing here takes away rights you have under consumer protection law.

Spotlight

Spotlight is a public list that ranks couples by what they have spent on Locked, and says so openly. Both partners must choose to join, and either can leave at any time.

A featured spot lasts 24 hours. Spending is capped each month per account. Spotlight purchases are not refunded by Locked after a bond ends.

Pausing and ending a bond

Ending a bond starts a seven-day pause. Only the person who started it can cancel it. After seven days the bond ends and the ring is destroyed for good. Your partner is told.

Your couple page

Your page is public: your names, your date, your ring and the social links you add. What you add stays yours; you let us show it on your page and in the app while your account exists.

Anyone can report a page from its footer. We review reports and may hide a page that breaks these terms.

What you may not do

  • Pretend to be someone else, or use a name that is not yours to use.
  • Add anything unlawful, obscene, hateful, harassing, or false and harmful about another person.
  • Add anything that harms children or infringes someone else's rights.
  • Add links to malware, or try to break, overload or misuse Locked.
  • Add anything that threatens the unity, security or public order of India, or that the law otherwise forbids.

Complaints and removal

Report a page from its footer, or write to our Grievance Officer: Dipak Jadhav, Director, support@thelocked.app. We acknowledge every complaint within 24 hours and resolve it within 15 days.

We may hide pages or suspend accounts that break these terms, and we act on lawful orders from courts and authorities.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account in the app at any time. If you are in a bond, it ends at once, without a pause, and the ring is destroyed.

Changes and our responsibility

We may change Locked or these terms. When we do, the date at the top changes, and we tell you in the app about important changes. If you keep using Locked, the new terms apply.

We do our best to keep Locked running, but we cannot promise it will always be available. As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect losses, and our total responsibility to you is limited to what you paid us in the last 12 months.

Law

These terms follow the laws of India. Disputes go to the courts of Pune.
